All information collected from customers or potential customers will be preserved in the strictest confidence. Records will never be disclosed for any reason to third parties, under any circumstances, unless required by law.
When you purchase, your name, billing, shipping addresses, phone number and e-mail address is collected. You provide this information so the order can be process and shipped.
We encourage you to sign-up for our e-mailing list. These letters provide you with advanced notice of sales, new merchandise, and other related events. However, of course, you have the freedom to add or remove your name from the list at any time.
Our Mailing list is managed by a third party through www.Mailchimp.com. Please refer to their terms and conditions for their website if you have any concerns. We respect your privacy and do not share nor sell our mailing list to any other entity.

- There is no price-matching policy at this time.
See SHIPPING CHARGES for oversized items. The designing of your customized item is included in our price.
- Visa, MasterCard , PayPal and online Echecks
- Echecks and personal checks: items will be held for 5 days and items will not be mailed (if in stock) or production started until payments have cleared.

- Non-customized Items:
- Payment; in full at the time of order, is required
- Customized Items Deposit:
A deposit of 50% of the purchase price plus total tax is required when you place an order. The balance plus shipping is due prior to delivery.

- Sales Tax:
The prevailing Canadian provincial and federal tax rates and rules will apply to all orders.
The Wooden Horse uses third party payment processors for credit card payments. The processors used include Paypal and Square. Your credit card information does not get processed on our website. Card information is processed on the third party servers listed above.
Only your personal information is retained on our website for the order. The Wooden Horse has a valid SSL certificate for our website to keep personal your information secure.
Payments via Online Interac transfer are available to our Canadian clients. Payment is made to email@example.com.
Returns & Exchanges
- Please notify us before sending back an item. All returns must be approved by The Wooden Horse.
- All returns must be prepaid and returned in their original unaltered condition along with the original invoice
- No invoice, No prior authorization, no refund, No exception
- Returns that are not the business’s fault will be subject to a 25% restocking charge and the cost of the return freight.
- The customer is responsible for shipping charge on returned items
- Shipping charges are not refundable.
- Non-customized returns:
- The original purchaser may return Non-customized items with proof of purchase for a full refund or exchange within 14 days of confirmed delivery.
- Gifts (not purchased by the recipient) may be returned within 14 days for a credit only.
- Returned or exchanged merchandise must be carefully packed and must arrive insured in its original packaging and condition. The return must be postmarked within 14 days of the original delivery date. Returned items must be in new condition (no scratches or blemishes and no broken, missing or exchanged parts).
- The wooden horse will not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit and will not process any returned items sent unsecure.
- After 14 days from receipt of purchase, no refunds or exchanges will be issued.
- This includes purchasing a trackable shipping method for items valued over $75, purchasing insurance for items valued over $100, and using Canada Post delivery confirmation service for items of lesser value to show delivery. Without this care, there will be no way to confirm that The Wooden Horse Custom Wood Products have received your item and therefore, a refund may not be possible.
- Customized Returns:
- Furniture may only be returned for non-repairable defects in material and workmanship. The Wooden Horse stands behind all of its furniture. Those defects from wear and usage are excluded as well as mineral streaks, color and grain variation, pin knots, pitch pockets, and other markings
- The original purchaser may return customized items with proof of purchase for a full refund or exchange within 14 days of confirmed delivery.
- Non-customized items:
It is easy to cancel items if the order has not entered the shipping process yet. If the item you want to cancel has entered the shipping process already, you can return the item to sender. Order cancellations must be requested within three business days of purchase. Because Items are custom and personalized, once started the order will not be cancelled the order. PLEASE read current processing times prior to ordering to ensure you have enough time to receive your order.
